When we are sad, we may feel discouraged, lacking energy and tired. Usually, we feel sad when something bad happens to us. Sometimes sadness is brief, and sometimes it can accompany us for several days.
We can feel sadness in different parts of our body: tightness in the chest, pain in the heart, and even a lump in the throat. Sadness can also bring an enormous urge to cry. That's okay; crying can do a lot of good!
